Web 2.0 is the idea that communication on the internet can be used for a multiple person conversation.
Originally the Web was primarily considered a tool for broadcasting. "Eat at Joe's".
The Web 2.0 is the understanding that the internet is like a great big party.
Someone can say "Eat At Joe's"
Someone else on the internet will post "Yeah I eat at Joe's all the time and love it".
A third person can add " Eat Joe's hamburgers there the best and don't forget to order his french fries".
The internet has become one big party or Social Network thanks to the concept of Web 2.0.
